MIRI: Tourism, Arts and Culture Assistant Minister Datuk Sebastian Ting reminded the public to strictly adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) to contain the transmission of Covid-19.

“I urge members of the public to always wear their face masks in public places, always be cautious, and practise a high level of hygiene by always washing their hands with soap or using hand sanitiser,” said the Piasau assemblyman.

He said this when met by reporters after distributing 300 face masks to the public in the city centre here on Monday (Nov 2).

Ting, who is also Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) secretary-general, said the party already stopped all its campaigning activities and events following the spike of new cases in Sarawak.
