KUCHING: A 62-year-old man was found dead in his house at Kampung Pasir Pandak, Jalan Sultan Tengah on Friday.
His grandchild found the lifeless body when he came to visit at 7.23am and immediately called the police.
District police chief ACP Awang Din Awang Gani, said a police team and an ambulance from the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) were deployed to the scene.
It is understood that the man was living alone and had a record of high blood pressure.
“It is believed that he died a few days ago judging by the condition of his body. There was no evidence of any foul play,” Awang Din said in a statement.
The body was taken to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for post mortem and the case has been classified as sudden death.
