SIBU: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) secretary-general Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi believes response from Sarawakians towards Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) is positive.
Nanta, when met at the rehearsal for PBB’s mini convention at Kingwood Hotel here on Friday (Oct 2), said at the moment, folks were still looking at what the GPS state government could do for them because many development plans had been rolled out, completed and more being planned.
“The opposition…they also promised to bring development but they have not become the government yet, and we are the government and we are already implementing it.
“…we are delivering to Sarawakians what they want, whereas the opposition can only promise to do.”
Nanta believed that Sarawakians knew well to stick with GPS “who is making a lot of improvements and achieving a lot.”
GPS comprises four local-based parties namely PBB, Parti Rakyat Sarawak, Progressive Democratic Party and Sarawak United People’s Party.
