SARIKEI: The people of the constituency will benefit from Fu Gui Ting Temple once its construction is completed.

Present to officiate at the ground-breaking ceremony of the temple, which was organised by Chiang Chuan Association of Sarikei, was Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii.

Huang has successfully applied for an allocation of RM300,000 from the Unit For Other Religions (Unifor) for the temple’s construction.

The people’s representative is very concerned about religious development and as such, he does his best to help people who need his assistance.

A spokesperson of the temple told New Sarawak Tribune today (Sept 29) that they were very grateful with the help.

“We are very grateful to Huang for his willingness to help us, and understanding and solving problems that we face,” said the spokesman.
