LUNDU: Muaythai Lundu athlete, Heedrew Lois emerged as champion of the Muaythai Cup championship, Datuk Amar Hajah Jamilah Anu Cup, held at Lundu Bus Station in conjunction with the Lundu Festival recently.
Heedrew representing Muaythai Lundu beat Faiz Fabaie from Muaythai Kenyalang who was ranked second in the Super 4 category, 63kg.
The first place for the Super 4 category, 45 kg women was won by Ayu Aryhnafaiza Azmi from Muaythai Kenyalang.
Ayu Aryhnafaiza beat Ranti Niza ak Jina from Muaythai Lundu who finished second.
The event was organised by Lundu District Office in collaboration with the organising committee of Lundu Festival 2017 and the Muaythai Association of Sarawak.
Tanjung Datu Assemblywoman, Datuk Amar Hajah Jamilah Anu gave away the prizes.
Also present were president of Muaythai Association of Sarawak Jumaat Ibrahim and Lundu District Officer, Lundu District Officer, Awang Putrayusrie Awang Redzuan.
