ASAJAYA: Local youths are encouraged to participate in the various courses offered by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said youths must be prepared for the digital economy which is being aggressively pursued by the state government.

“We need to prepare ourselves by improving our skills through courses organised by the ministry.

“(The ministry) from time to time, would offer youths the opportunity to participate in not only photography courses but also entrepreneurship courses,” he said in a text of speech read out by Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports Datuk Snowdan Lawan at a Basic Photography Course (Smartphone) closing ceremony held at Tan Sri Amar Hj Abg Ikhwan Zaini Hall, Asajaya District Office, here on Sunday.

He added that the youths should seize the opportunities to participate in courses organised by the ministry in order to hone their skills and knowledge.
