SRI AMAN: Two men suffered head injuries after the lorry they were travelling in crashed to the side of the road at Bukit Begunan, Sri Aman-Serian Road on Saturday.
State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received a distress call on the 8.49pm accident and despatched a team of firefighters from the Sri Aman fire station to the scene.
The firefighters found the lorry, which was carrying chicken manure, had crashed to the side of the road while going downhill.
It was reported that the 52-year-old driver, who was trapped in his seat, was later rescued by passers-by, while a passenger, 22, managed to get out of the lorry.
Both victims were taken to Sri Aman Hospital for further treatments.
