SRI AMAN: A total of 700 people participated in the Clan Cheng Association celebration here recently.
The celebration included lion dance performance, followed by magic and singing performance, and lucky draw where participants stood the chance to win an Oppo smartphone and water pressure spray.
When officiating at the event, Deputy Minister for Education, Innovation and Talent Development Datuk Francis Harden Hollis said that the celebration was a way to strengthen the relationship among members of the community that came from all kinds of background.
At the same time, he also announced a Minor Rural Project allocation of RM5,000 to both youth and women sections of Clan Cheng, that were handed over to the committee of the association.
