70 police personnel at fire safety talk, demos

MIRI: A total 70 police personnel from Lutong, Tanjong, Batu Niah, Bekenu and Miri police stations attended a fire safety demonstration and talk on Wednesday morning.

The event was held at Miri police headquarters at Jalan Miri-Pujut.
Four firefighters from Miri fire station were present to conduct the talk and demonstration.
Among the topics covered during the programme were the handling of leakage of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG, chemical safety talk and putting out fires using fire extinguishers.

Female participants are not left behind to enhance their knowledge and skills in fire prevention and safety.
