KOTA SAMARAHAN: A total of 36 associations and clubs under the Kota Samarahan parliamentary constituency received Minor Rural Project (MRP) grant allocation amounting to RM179,000.

Kota Samarahan MP Datuk Rubiah Wang officiated at the grant presentation ceremony in the Kota Samarahan Service Centre recently.

In her brief speech, Rubiah said that the MRP grants are intended for the implementation of activities, including programmes to enhance community involvement, empowering organisations and associations, and the execution of small projects in their respective areas.

Therefore, she expressed the hope that these grants could be utilised effectively, providing facilities and comfort in conducting activities while addressing issues related to the development of small-scale facilities.

Present at the event were the Sadong Jaya Sub-District Officer Abdullah Sam Yusup and the representative of the Samarahan District Office, Zool Nasri Yusuf.
