KUCHING: Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud and his wife,Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib attended the ‘Jalinan Kasih Ramadhan’ with the ‘asnaf’ families at the official residence of the Head of State, here on Thursday night.
The ceremony began with the Isyak prayers and Tarawih performed together with the 400 guests present.
After the Tarawih, the ceremony continued with the presentation of cash and hamper donations to 25 recipients comprising ‘asnaf’ families from around Kuching.
The donations were presented by the Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud and his wife,Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib.
Also present at the event was the senior private secretary to the Head of State, Datu Mustapa Han, heads of departments and residents from around Kuching.
