21 new Covid-19 cases reported on Wednesday

KUCHING: Sarawak recorded 21 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday (Jan 19) with 20 of the cases being Category 1 and 2 while one was Category 5.

The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) reported that the cumulative total number of cases now stood at 252,646.

Sibu topped the numbers with nine cases. Kuching recorded five new cases and Miri reported three cases.

One case was reported in Song, Simunjan, Lawas and Betong respectively.

Eight compound notices were issued for failure to scan the MySejahtera QR Code upon entering premises.

SDMC also reported that no new cluster and fatality were recorded.
