KUCHING: A total of 150 participants took part in the 4th International Artificial Intelligence Technology Conference held from November 1 to 3 at Imperial Hotel, here.
The conference was held to provide a platform on finding new opportunities and as well as to expand the participants’ knowledge. Its Chairperson, Professor Dr Shahnorbanum Sahran pointed out that the conference is important as the world is now moving towards the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4.0).
“It’s important that we all share our combined knowledge on technology as well as how we can benefit from this revolution,” she said here on Thursday.
With the theme ‘Empowering the Nation via 4IR’, the conference will present 88 papers (oral) and 10 presentations (posters).
“All these papers will be published in one journal as a reference,” she added. The conference featured five speakers, namely Prof Dr Mohd Aizaini Maarof (Universiti Teknologi Malaysia), Prof Dr Chan Chee Seng (University of Malaya), Alban Seah (CEO of Wiki Labs Sdn Bhd), Khairuddin Yahaya (MAMPU) and Prof Emeritus Dr Abdul Razak Hamdan (CAIT, FTSM).
