MIRI: A total of 1,333 police and army personnel together with their spouses cast their votes yesterday (Nov 15) for the Sibuti and Miri parliamentary constituencies in the 15th general election (GE15).

Seven polling channels were opened during the process which started at 8am at three stations, namely the Miri Police Headquarters (IPD) with three channels and two channels each at 12th Battalion of General Operation Force (GOF) and Sri Miri Army Camp.

The early voting involved 637 voters comprising IPD Miri IPD (461) and GOF (176) while another 406 are postal voters.

In Sri Miri Camp, 696 personnel and their spouses cast their early votes.
