MIRI: Thirteen individuals aged between 14 and 20 were picked up during a recent Ops Samseng Jalanan in Taman Tunku, Miri, Miri district police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu said.

The operation, conducted by the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division, took place between 5.30 pm and 8 pm on Saturday (Jan 18).
Authorities also seized 13 motorcycles as evidence under Section 60 of the Road Transport Act 1987.

As part of the crackdown, police issued 61 summonses for various offences, including driving without a licence, illegal exhaust modifications, structural alterations to motorcycles, and other violations.

ACP Alexson urged parents to closely monitor their children’s activities to prevent them from engaging in illegal activities.
