KUCHING: Thirteen talented dancers from the Russell, Randell, and Cindy Dance Company are set to showcase their skills at the prestigious Bailando Open DanceSport Championship in Johor Bahru from April 4 to 6.
Led by their dedicated coach, Cindy Chung, the dancers have been rigorously training for this highly anticipated event.
Competing across various categories, they will represent Sarawak in the Juvenile, Junior, Youth, and Adult Solo Latin divisions for both the MYDF Ranking and WDSF Open events.
The team includes Cordelia Wee, Eunice Ling, Erin Ung, Arabelle Leah Pei, Valery Chung, Einsley Ng, Charlotte Hii, Vanie Sii, Isabelle Lam, Anne Chai, Abelinda Sim, Sarah Tham and Patricia Yap — each eager to make their mark on the national stage.
In a Facebook post, the Russell, Randell, and Cindy Dance Company expressed pride in their dancers, stating: “All the best to them in keeping the Sarawak flag flying high.”
With their passion, discipline, and unwavering commitment, these dancers are ready to bring their best to the competition, aiming to shine under the spotlight and make their home state proud.
