SARIKEI: A house owner was shocked to find a 1.5-metre-long cobra in their house at Taman Susur Jambu here, yesterday.
A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department here said firemen led by Charles Kesler rushed to the scene when contacted by the house owner at 2.02pm.
When the firemen arrived at the scene they found the cobra hiding under a wardrobe in the house.
“The cobra was captured using a special equipment before it was released to its original habitat,” the spokesman said.
